Plaid 20 Hole Dr. Martens

It's my 20 year Anniversary for my plaid docs!!!

I'm moving all my stuff outta my old apt & found Em propped on a shelf. I've had Em on display in my closet for so long I forgot I could wear Em!

I tried Em on...

20 years later...

They still FIT!

As I was tying my laces up, it brought me back to 1994 rushing to get to work at the Comic Book Shop! I would curse the amount of lace holes these darn things had. & now as I lace Em up I think back with fondness :)

The view down is still the same. But some things Have changed...My left wrist has a big gorey scar, I have a tattoo on my right inner arm, an engagement ring...

And...

I like who I am just as much as I liked who I was then!

I was punk rock when I was little & was always scared of what adult life would be like.

I'm pleasantly surprised :)))

I'm More Rock n Roll now then I was then!
